Jackery SolarVault 3: Modular Home Battery Debuts at IFA Berlin 2026

Jackery is showing the SolarVault 3 home battery series at IFA Berlin 2026 (Hall 2.2, Stand 114, 4–8 September), alongside a refreshed Explorer Plus portable power range and the Ark AI EMS energy management system that runs on top of it. Unlike the Ark AI EMS, SolarVault 3 isn't a Berlin debut — Jackery launched it in continental Europe in spring 2026, with pre-sales opening in the Netherlands, Germany and France from 25 March and a showing at Solar Solutions Amsterdam and Open Energies Lyon that same month. IFA is where it gets its biggest European stage yet, positioned as the storage hardware the rest of Jackery's smart energy stack plugs into.

What the SolarVault 3 series is

SolarVault 3 is a modular, all-in-one home battery: an integrated inverter and LiFePO4 (lithium iron phosphate) battery pack in one unit, sold across three variants — SolarVault 3 Pro, Pro Max and Pro Max AC. Capacity scales from 2.52kWh in a single Pro unit up to 15.12kWh, and Jackery says up to three units can run in parallel for a combined 45.36kWh and 12kW of solar input across a household. Each unit takes up to 4,000W of PV input through four independent MPPT trackers, which lets it track separate strings of panels — useful where roof orientation or partial shading means panels don't all perform identically. Grid output tops out at 1,200W on the Pro (adjustable down for markets with lower balcony-PV limits) and 2,500W on the Pro Max and Pro Max AC, rising to 7,500W AC output when three units are paired. Safety and build claims

Jackery is leaning heavily on safety in its SolarVault 3 marketing, citing roughly 100 individual safeguards built into the system, including terminal temperature monitoring and an automatic aerosol fire-suppression system that Jackery says deploys if internal temperature crosses a critical threshold. The housing is rated IP65 for weather resistance, with a stated operating range of -20°C to 55°C, and Jackery says backup switching kicks in within milliseconds during a grid outage. The company backs the series with a 10-year warranty and says it put SolarVault 3 through more than 1,000 validation tests, including corrosion and high-stress trials, before launch. AI energy management and retrofit

Each SolarVault 3 unit ships with built-in AI-based energy management that Jackery says can read live tariff data from providers including Nordpool, Tibber and Rabot to time charging and discharging around price. That's a narrower, hardware-level version of what the separate Ark AI EMS is designed to do across a whole household's solar, battery and grid setup once paired with SolarVault 3. Jackery also markets SolarVault 3 as retrofit-friendly: because it AC-couples, Jackery says it can be added to an existing solar PV system without replacing the existing panels or inverter, which matters for the many UK homes with older solar installs looking to add storage rather than start again — a decision we walk through in whether solar batteries are worth it.

What's still unconfirmed for the UK

Jackery's SolarVault 3 pre-sale and launch activity so far has been continental European — the Netherlands, Germany and France — and none of the company's announcements confirm UK pricing, a UK release date, or whether it will be sold through UK MCS-certified installer routes, which is what most UK buyers would need for it to count toward standard solar-battery incentives. The IFA Berlin showing puts SolarVault 3 in front of a UK-facing audience, but until Jackery confirms a UK price and installer network, treat it as a European launch with likely-but-unconfirmed UK availability rather than a product you can order today.
