All articles on this site are written and approved by Sepehr, who is the sole author at this time. Sepehr is a solar specialist with a background in technology and extensive research across the UK solar, battery, and EV charging market — backed by MCS-certified installer partners. Where claims require independent professional sign-off (e.g. financial advice, planning regulations), we link to authoritative sources.
Scoring methodology
Every product is scored on per-category criteria with explicit weights. The weights sum to 1.0 per category and are published below. Scores are derived from published manufacturer specifications, not from lab testing or proprietary data.

Use of AI in content
Long-form articles are drafted using AI (the Anthropic Claude API) and reviewed by Sepehr before publication. The review step is mandatory — no AI-drafted article goes live without Sepehr personally reading and approving it. AI does not assign product scores; those come exclusively from the formula above applied to manufacturer specs.

Updates and corrections

How often we update this policy
