What I noticed
Eurener is a Spanish manufacturer with EU production — relatively unusual in a market dominated by Chinese tier-1 brands. The MEPV500 is their flagship N-Type bifacial monocrystalline residential module, delivering 500W at 23.1% efficiency in a 1909×1134mm format.
The bifacial design means the rear face of the panel can capture reflected and diffuse light from the roof surface — typically adding 5-15% real-world output on tilted residential mounts depending on roof colour. Dual tempered glass on both faces (replacing a traditional plastic backsheet) extends the functional lifespan and supports the 25-year product warranty.
Who it suits
Buyers who specifically want EU-manufactured panels for supply chain ethics, ESG reporting, or shipping carbon reasons. Also suitable for larger residential roofs where the 500W output justifies the bigger footprint.
What I'd watch for
At 27kg the MEPV500 is the heaviest panel in this comparison — confirm your roof structure load assessment. Eurener has limited UK installer familiarity; expect to source through specialist EU-focused distributors. Premium pricing relative to tier-1 Chinese N-Type panels of equivalent spec.
