What I noticed
DMEGC is a major Chinese tier-1 manufacturer that produces both solar cells and panels in-house. The DM465G12RT uses the newer G12 wafer format (larger than the older M10 wafers in most competing panels), which lifts module efficiency to 23.3% — among the highest in current-generation TOPCon.
At 96 cells in a 1762×1134mm frame, this is a standard 54-cell residential footprint with the cells arranged as half-cut sub-panels for shade resilience. The all-black appearance suits dark or tiled roofs where a uniform aesthetic is a priority.
Who it suits
Homeowners who want top-tier N-Type efficiency at a value price. £68.77 per panel for a 23.3% module is genuinely competitive — under £150/kW for the panels themselves before mounting and inverter costs.
What I'd watch for
DMEGC has lower UK installer brand recognition than Jinko, Trina, JA Solar or Canadian Solar — confirm your installer has fitted them before and that their wholesaler stocks them reliably. At 24kg these are on the heavier side; not unusual for 23%+ modules but worth checking against your roof load assessment.
