What I noticed
The AIKO G2 500W extends the Gen 2 ABC platform into a larger 60-cell residential format. Where the Neostar 2S squeezes 460W into a 54-cell frame, the G2 reaches 500W with 22.6% efficiency — a useful step up in absolute output for roofs that can accommodate the bigger 1954×1134mm footprint without sacrificing the all-black aesthetic.
The back-contact cell architecture is the same as the Neostar 2S: no visible front busbars, lower temperature coefficient than TOPCon, and the same 25-year product / 30-year performance warranty.
Who it suits
Homeowners with larger south-facing roofs who want maximum total system output and prefer fewer, larger panels to many small ones. Reducing panel count means fewer roof-penetration points and faster installation.
What I'd watch for
At 24kg per panel this is heavier than the Neostar 2S — confirm your roof structure can handle the array weight. The 60-cell format is also taller (1.95m), which restricts where it can sit on roofs with dormers, vents or chimneys.
