FOSSiBOT F3000: New Portable Power Station at IFA Berlin 2026

FOSSiBOT used IFA Berlin 2026 (Hall 2.2, Booth H2.2-173, Messe Berlin, 4–8 September) to launch the F3000, a new portable power station the company positions as an upgraded, more compact successor in its 2kWh-class range. It sits alongside the balcony-mounted FOSSiBOT FBP1200 shown at the same event, but the two are built for different jobs: the FBP1200 is a fixed balcony solar storage system, while the F3000 is a portable power station for home backup, camping, RV use and off-grid power that also happens to charge well from solar.

Capacity, output and solar input

FOSSiBOT's own IFA announcement gives the F3000 a 2,048Wh battery capacity, 3,000W continuous AC output, and support for up to 1,200W of solar charging input. Those numbers put it in the same capacity class as FOSSiBOT's existing F2400 (also 2,048Wh, 2,400W output), but with a higher-power inverter and faster solar charging ceiling — the sort of capacity-to-output ratio that matters for running higher-draw appliances like a kettle, microwave or power tools rather than just topping up small electronics. Smart ECO Mode and the redesign

FOSSiBOT describes a newly developed Smart ECO Mode on the F3000, which it says intelligently manages power sources — switching between solar, grid and battery draw — to improve overall energy efficiency rather than leaving the unit running at a fixed output profile regardless of load. The company also says the F3000 has an "optimised structural design" that reduces weight and size compared with the wider F-series, making it easier to carry between the house, a vehicle and outdoor use. FOSSiBOT has not published exact weight or dimension figures for the F3000 alongside the launch announcement, so treat the "more compact" claim as directional rather than a specified figure until FOSSiBOT lists full spec-sheet numbers.

Price and pre-order window

FOSSiBOT has set a pre-order window of 10–15 September 2026 for the F3000, priced at €759. That pricing and window, reported by German outlet Basic Tutorials via smartzone.de alongside FOSSiBOT's own IFA coverage, are for the EU market; FOSSiBOT's IFA press materials and EU blog post do not confirm a UK price, UK release date, or whether the F3000 will be sold through FOSSiBOT's UK-specific store rather than only the EU one. As with the FBP1200, anyone in the UK interested in the F3000 should wait for FOSSiBOT to confirm UK pricing and availability rather than assuming the EU price converts directly, since import costs, VAT treatment and shipping can all change the final UK price.
