What I noticed
Sungrow is one of the world's largest inverter manufacturers, and the SH-RS series is their mainstream single-phase hybrid line for UK residential installs. The SH6.0RS is the most common size, pairing with Sungrow's own stackable SBR battery modules over a DC-coupled connection.
Dual MPPT handles two independent panel strings, and the built-in EPS backup supports 100% unbalanced loads — useful for homes with single large appliances on one circuit during an outage.
Who it suits
Mid-size single-phase homes (typical 5-6kW array) wanting an established-brand hybrid inverter at a lower price point than premium alternatives, with room to stack SBR battery capacity as needs grow.
What I'd watch for
Exact UK warranty term and unit weight/dimensions were not independently confirmed from a primary datasheet at the time of writing — verify directly with a Sungrow-approved installer before committing. Requires Sungrow's own SBR batteries for the DC-coupled pairing.
