What I noticed
Fox ESS has become one of the most-installed inverter brands in the UK over the last two years, particularly in the value-tier solar+battery segment. The F3600 is their current 3.6kW solar-only string inverter — designed to pair with Fox ESS battery modules via a separate Fox ESS hybrid inverter or to operate standalone.
Dual MPPT, integrated DC switch, 98% peak efficiency. The Fox cloud monitoring is solid — single-app for both solar generation and battery state when paired with Fox storage.
Who it suits
UK installs planning the Fox ESS ecosystem (Fox EP series battery + hybrid inverter). Good value for solar-only installs that may add Fox batteries later.
What I'd watch for
Solar-only — for batteries use the Fox H or EP series hybrid inverter. Fox ESS UK installer familiarity is growing but lower than Growatt or Solis. Warranty support quality varies by installer.
