What I noticed
Solis already appears in this category as a value-tier solar-only inverter — the S6-EH1P-PLUS series is their hybrid line, built on the same low-voltage (40-58V) DC-coupled architecture used across their storage inverters, which opens up compatibility with several third-party battery brands rather than locking buyers into one ecosystem.
Backup switchover is under 10ms, and dual MPPT covers two independent strings. The 8kW size shown here is the PLUS variant with confirmed UK retail pricing; the same platform also ships in smaller 3-6kW single-phase sizes.
Who it suits
