What I noticed
The 6.0kW Gen3 variant is the larger sibling of the GivEnergy 3.6kW string inverter — same architecture and feature set, scaled up for installs requiring G99 grid connection. Dual MPPT design handles two separate panel strings.
Like the 3.6kW model, this is solar-only (no battery interface). Pair with a separate GivEnergy hybrid inverter for battery storage, or the GivEnergy AIO if combined solar+battery is preferred.
Who it suits
Larger UK single-phase homes (4-5 bed) with PV arrays above 3.68kW peak. Particularly suitable when planning GivEnergy ecosystem integration for current or future battery storage.
What I'd watch for
Solar-only — needs a separate hybrid inverter for batteries. G99 grid application required, adding 4-8 weeks to install timeline.
