What I noticed
The GivEnergy Gen3 string inverter is the current generation of GivEnergy's solar-only inverter platform. The 3.6kW single-phase variant fits within UK G98 grid limits for a fast install (no G99 application required).
Dual MPPT design handles two separate panel strings — useful for split-roof installs where panels face different directions. Designed for native integration with GivEnergy battery storage via the matching hybrid inverter, with single-app monitoring through the GivEnergy Cloud platform.
Who it suits
UK households planning to add GivEnergy battery storage either at install or later. The ecosystem integration is mature and the UK installer familiarity is excellent.
What I'd watch for
This is the solar-only model — for direct battery integration you need the GivEnergy hybrid inverter or the AIO unit instead. 3.6kW fits G98 only — for larger systems use the 6.0kW variant with G99 application.
