Zendure used IFA Berlin 2026 to put its SolarFlow 2400 Pro back in front of a European audience, launching it for the region alongside two new stablemates — the SolarFlow 2400 AC+ and SolarFlow 1600 AC+. Of the three, the 2400 Pro is the one aimed squarely at balcony-solar households who want more storage and more input capacity than a basic plug-in kit offers, without giving up the DIY-friendly installation that makes plug-in balcony solar attractive in the first place.

The SolarFlow 2400 Pro is a balcony-solar battery and micro-inverter combined into one unit. TechRadar's roundup of the best plug-in solar gadgets at IFA 2026 confirms the headline spec: it can take on up to 4,800W of solar input across four separate MPPTs, and offers 2,400W of bi-directional AC power — enough to both charge from panels and discharge stored power back into the home circuit. German outlet homeandsmart.de, which tested the unit ahead of the show, breaks that input down further: up to 3,000W arrives via the four DC MPPT inputs, with a further 1,800W available through AC coupling, for the 4,800W combined figure. Plug-in panels or a retrofit to existing roof panels

What sets the 2400 Pro apart from a typical balcony-solar starter kit is flexibility on the input side. It can run in the usual way — connected to plug-in balcony solar panels, the kind you'd rack against a railing or a south-facing wall — but Zendure also positions it as retrofittable to an existing rooftop solar array, sitting between the panels and the home's wiring to add storage to a system that previously only exported or self-consumed in real time. The base 2400 Pro ships with 2.4kWh of storage, and Zendure's own configurator shows it scaling up to 16.8kWh by adding AB3000L battery modules (2.88kWh each) — a wide enough range to cover anything from a small flat topping up evening usage to a house-sized buffer against peak import prices. Zendure hasn't published UK pricing or a UK-market SKU for any of the three at the time of writing; its EU store lists the base 2400 Pro unit (without panels or extra battery packs) from around €959, rising with each AB3000L module and panel bundle added. What's still unconfirmed for UK buyers

As with most IFA announcements, the figures above come from Zendure's own materials and pre-show testing coverage rather than a finished UK retail listing.
