What I noticed
BS 7671 requires an accessible means of isolation between the inverter and the consumer unit — this is typically a double-pole isolator mounted close to the inverter. The IP66 rating makes it suitable for outdoor/garage installs. Your electrician will specify the exact location during the sign-off inspection.
