What I noticed
The US3000C is the 3.5kWh variant in Pylontech's US series — a smaller LiFePO4 module designed for smaller homes or installs where a single 5kWh module is too much capacity for the use case. Same 48V architecture as the US5000, same inverter compatibility matrix, same LiFePO4 cell technology.
Common as the starter module in stacked configurations — install one US3000C now, add more later as needs grow. Particularly suitable for compact 1-2 bedroom UK homes where a full 5kWh would only ever cycle to ~60% on a typical day.
Who it suits
Small-home installs (flats, 1-bed) where daily consumption is under 7kWh. Also suitable as a top-up module for households that already have a US5000 and want incremental capacity without doubling the install.
What I'd watch for
Per-kWh cost is higher than the US5000 — for any install where 4.8kWh would actually be used, the larger module is better value. Confirm the current US3000C revision (not older US3000B/A).
