What I noticed
The Libbi 5kWh battery pack is the modular cell for myenergi's home-storage ecosystem. Pair it with a Libbi hybrid inverter (sold separately) and stack up to 4 modules for 20kWh total capacity. Like all myenergi products, it integrates natively with Zappi (EV charging) and Eddi (hot water diversion) for whole-house energy orchestration via the myenergi app.
LiFePO4 cells with a 10-year warranty. The stacked configuration lets households start small and add capacity as needs grow — useful for solar-first installs that add an EV or heat pump later.
Who it suits
Households already running a Zappi EV charger or planning the full myenergi ecosystem. Single-app control of solar storage, EV charging, and hot water diversion is the strongest selling point.
What I'd watch for
Requires the Libbi hybrid inverter — adds significant cost vs an AIO. Per-kWh the modular approach works out more expensive than buying a single 10kWh+ unit. Confirm compatibility with your existing solar inverter before specifying.
