What I noticed

Dyness sits in the value tier of the LiFePO4 storage market — slightly less established than Pylontech but with strong specs at a noticeably lower £/kWh price. The DL5.0C is their 5.12kWh wall-mount module compatible with most 48V hybrid inverters (Sunsynk, Solis, Growatt, GoodWe).

The LiFePO4 chemistry gives the same safety and longevity profile as Pylontech and the higher-priced brands. Where Dyness saves cost is in less-polished cell-balancing electronics and a slightly shorter (5-year vs 10-year) warranty.

Who it suits

Budget-conscious installs where the install cost (inverter + battery) needs to come in under £4000 total. Particularly strong as a 'try it and see' module for households unsure whether storage will pay back at their tariff.

What I'd watch for

5-year warranty is shorter than the 10-year industry standard — accept this trade-off for the lower upfront cost. UK installer familiarity is moderate; confirm experience before commit. Stacking is limited compared to Pylontech.
