What I noticed
The Samsung EHS Mono HT Quiet is notable for two things: it's genuinely quiet at 45dB(A) at 1m, and its high-temperature mode (up to 65°C flow temperature) means it can work with existing radiators without requiring an upgrade — which is the single most common barrier to heat pump adoption.
Who it suits
Homes with existing radiators that haven't been oversized for a heat pump. If your current boiler runs above 70°C to keep you warm, you'll still need to address heat emitters — but for the majority of post-2000 semi-detached homes, the HT Quiet can often drop straight in.
Watch for
The 5-year warranty is shorter than Vaillant and Mitsubishi. Samsung's installer network in the UK is smaller, so check availability in your area before committing.
