What I noticed
The Growatt MIN TL-XH series is designed with battery retrofit in mind — the XH suffix means it has an integrated storage port for a Growatt ARK battery. If you're planning to add a battery within the next few years, this is a cost-effective way to avoid a second inverter install.
Who it suits
Installs of 2.5–3kWp where future battery addition is likely. Good value at under £500, with a reasonable 10-year warranty.
Watch for
The storage interface only works with Growatt's own battery — if you later choose a different brand (GivEnergy, SolarEdge, etc.) you'll need a separate hybrid inverter. Decide battery brand first.
