What I noticed
The GoodWe DNS series is a hybrid inverter — it manages both your solar panels and a battery storage system. Installing a hybrid inverter from day one means you can add a battery at any point without changing the inverter.
Who it suits
Larger installs (3.5–5kWp) where battery storage is a near-term plan. Compatible with GoodWe Lynx batteries. Five-year warranty extendable to ten with registration.
Watch for
The DNS series is AC-coupled for battery, which is slightly less efficient than DC coupling. If peak efficiency matters, look at DC-coupled hybrid options.
