What I noticed
K2 Systems is one of the most commonly used mounting manufacturers for UK solar installs — widely stocked at Segen and BEW. The Rapid16 system uses an in-roof hook that bolts directly to the roof timbers, then aluminium rails that the panels clip onto. No drilling through your roof membrane.
Installation notes
You'll need to locate your roof rafters precisely before ordering — the hook spacing depends on rafter centres (typically 400mm or 600mm in UK homes). A good rafter finder or careful measurement from the loft is essential before install day.
